City Centre Management Derby (CCMDerby) is a team of people funded by Derby City Council to promote the economic and commercial well-being of Derby City Centre. With the specific remit of stakeholder liaison and by undertaking certain roles and responsibilities on behalf of the city council, CCMDerby provides a key focal point for businesses to influence the development of the city centre and address key issues.
CCMDerby should be the first point of contact for businesses in the city
CCMDerby link in with City Centre Management Group, which sets the vision and the strategy for the City Centre
- Provide a forum for collective business activity and discussion to promote the different facets of Derby.
- Provide a liaison with other private sector partners and public sector departments
- Work closely with the Cathedral Quarter Company
- Manage the space hire in the Market Place and other sites across the city centre for use by commercial, community and charity organisations.
- Link in with the Community Safety Tasking groups to support a cleaner, safer, greener agenda.
