We can only achieve our objectives through working in real partnership with key stakeholders, the retail and night time economy, commercial businesses, the city council and other organisations such as Cityscape, the Police and voluntary agencies.

Examples of how we achieve our objectives by working with others include:
• Reducing aggravated begging on the streets in association with the Police, Derbyshire Community
Foundation Charity and Voluntary organisations
• Providing a forum for collective media activity and discussion to promote the different facets of
Derby
• Supplying retail business support and information

• Co-ordinating retail activity for specific parts of the city

• Promoting Derby as a Christmas shopping destination through a combined media approach

• Developing Market Place activity for events and community use
